The Path from Darkness to Light

Greetings Seeker. I felt I needed to share something, just a quick note that may find you on your journey to the light. This is a journey to the light, although it may not appear so. The world is as-it-is, to keep your attention fixed on the world. The world, or the reality, that you are experiencing as life, is a projection that is coming out of you.

The program (the Ego) is the character within this projection. You must learn this by turning your attention within. I don’t mean to “escape” your reality, rather, I’m sharing with you a method that will begin to develop a faculty within your body. This faculty, once it begins activating and developing, heightens your awareness by raising your intuition higher into your senses. Essentially, you are developing your intuition faculty into your consciousness.

This is one step of many, but a milestone of achievement once you become aware of the changes that begin to take place. Your decisions, beliefs, and perceptions of your outside reality will begin to change. You’ll start seeing more deeply into things and having a greater sense of what is true and what is fiction. The faculties that being to develop, have no boundaries except the ones that you put on them. The WILL to develop these must be rock solid and intact, or the outside world will win your attention. The strength of Your Will, will build over time so you must become patient. Each time you defeat the pressure to engage in the outside world and go within, you build the muscle of WILL stronger. I don’t mean this in the sense of avoiding duties and responsibilities, I mean this in the sense of thought. When you choose to take some time and focus your attention inwards, what are you thinking about? In the beginning, your mind will focus on all of the things you normally think about - hence, the outside world arena. When you’re able to begin detaching from this monkey-mind that can’t stop thinking about this and that, the magic and a new world starts opening up inside of you.

Ultimately, your Will is what will carry you into higher worlds, through the veil, and into the light. While you are carrying on with your worldly duties, always keep part of your mind aware of your true purpose. Your true purpose is not your job, your friends, your church, and not even your family - those are but the fruits produced by your worldly actions. Your true purpose is to transform darkness into light. As you begin to understand this more deeply, many clues will appear in your worldly life. So many in fact, that coincidence will no longer be considered.

Meditation is the key. All other practices like asanas (Yoga postures), praying, mantras, breathing exercises, healthy living, mindfulness, and so on, are all but to facilitate a more effective meditation practice. Once one learns, or I should say, develops oneself, to consciously enter into a truly meditative state, then all practices and techniques will no longer be needed. In fact, it takes the mind or body to use those techniques, therefore, in order to liberate oneself from the mind/body organism, he must let go of all techniques. It is an expansion of consciousness, first within, then without, and one will know naturally when a technique no longer serves its purpose.

Here are two paragraphs from The Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean:

“Deep are the mysteries around thee, hidden the secrets of old. Search through the Keys of my Wisdom. Surely shall ye find the way. The gateway to power is secret, but he who attains shall receive. Look to the Light! O my brother. Open and ye shall receive. Press on through the valley of darkness. Overcome the dweller of the night. Keep ever thine eyes to the Light-Plane, and thou shalt be One with the Light.”

“Know, O man, thou art complex, a being of earth and of fire. Let thy flame shine out brightly. Be thou only of fire.

Wisdom is hidden in darkness. When lit by the flame of the Soul, find thou the wisdom and be Light-Born, a Sun of the Light without form. Seek thee ever more wisdom. Find it in the heart of the flame. Know that only by striving can Light pour into thy brain. Now have I spoken with wisdom. List to my Voice and obey. Tear open the Veils of darkness. Shine a light on the Way.”

There is much said in these two paragraphs. Deep esoteric knowledge is all around us, hidden in art and in texts like this. As you develop your inner faculties, meanings and truth which are hidden in plane sight, become unveiled. The fire is hidden within you, but is shrouded by the Earth (your body and your senses). Once you learn how to let go of those things, your fire will start shining into your body, and your Earth and Fire will begin to alchemize into one. It’s not just about going into the light and leaving the Earth, its about bringing the two together, into one.

The star of David, as its known by many (below), is used is many esoteric texts and artworld to represent this evolution of body and spirit. One triangle is human consciousness ascending out of is lower animal-like energy centers, while the other triangle is the spiritual essence coming into the being. Let go of other meanings and dogmas that shroud truth and see it for what it is. The upwards triangle represents Spirit (subtle, high-vibrational energies); the downward triangle represents the physical, body / Earth (dense, low vibrational energies). Most forms of symbology have been hijacked throughout history and used for the purposes to influence cultures in one way or another. Understanding the truth and developing the ability to see through the narratives, is one aspect of the fascinating journey from darkness to light.
