One thing I’d like to comment on, after re-reading this article, is the idea of self agency/will. Personal will is really the cornerstone of everything, as you say. It’s through striving to learn and grow that we can sustainable hold progressively higher levels of consciousness, I think. And free will means no one can force us to do what we don’t want to, or are not ready to do. It means that we carry responsibility for ourselves and the decisions we make. All the man-made laws in the world don’t change this- though they may make things more difficult, in terms of living according to our own convictions without fear of consequences.
This is such an in-depth article with so many important point to consider that I’ll have to read it several times before coming back to comment or ask questions!
